Soils : Mainly schist plots of land

Average age of the vines : 1953, hence the name of this cuvée.

Grape harvest : Manual. All the grapes are hand picked, sorted very severely without noble or gray rot. The grapes are transported to the cellar in a 20kg box so as not to crush them.

Vinification : Vendange égrappée en cuve béton, puis élevage en fibre de verre.

Alcohol : 13.5 % Vol

Tasting notes : On the palate, notes of black fruits, with a nice balance between a ripe round side and silky tannins.

Serving temperature : Remember to decant 30 minutes before serving

Conservation : About 5 years
